Canada Cobalt CEO Frank Basa outlines full details and plans in a special Webinar presentation, produced by Gold Investment Letter
Good Evening,
Cobalt prices have cooled in the past few weeks but are still up over 25% this past 12 months to the high $30’s per pound. Most of the cobalt stocks out there have been weak recently, except our top junior pick Canada Cobalt Works (CCW/TAKRF). I’m convinced that investors only need to hold two stocks for maximum alpha in the space and that’s CCW and Cobalt27 (KBLT/CBLLF). KBLT just announced a large bought deal financing that is creating an excellent opportunity to buy under $10 CDN.
Canada Cobalt Works (CCW/TAKRF) CEO Frank Basa spoke to GIL on Friday afternoon and I think everyone should have a listen (link below). CCW is trading at 47 ish cents CDN currently and my short term target (3 weeks to 3 months) is 80 cents or a 70% move from here. That’s a technical target but it’s fueled fundamentally by expected strong news from underground drilling and the incredible value from recent news of the Re-2OX technology tests. CCW is the only company with fully permitted underground access in the entire Cobalt Ontario camp.
Very importantly, their test results that achieved not only 99% Cobalt recovery (and other minerals at various levels) but removed 99% of the arsenic. This is enormous and the arsenic is a major challenge for other potential producers in Cobalt and around the world. Re-2OX could end up eventually separating cobalt and removing arsenic for many other companies, which is an additional revenue stream. CCW and KBLT (Cobalt 27) are my only two cobalt bets but they are big positions. CCW is the best junior speculation in the sector hands down in my opinion and it’s not too late to buy some below 50 cents CDN.

Watch the 55 cent CDN level on CCW because once it breaks through then a major breakout will have been triggered towards my 80 cent target. Buying up to 50 cents and selling at 75 cents is a 50% gain/trade that can happen this summer….not bad. However, I am likely waiting for the $1-2 area before consider taking any substantial profits.
I’m long CCW/KBLT
