Video Interview: CCW’s CEO Frank Basa covers new ground: Gold-equivalent of extremely high silver grades, path to profitability and TTL’s potential

Jul 1, 2021

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. CEO Frank Basa covers important new ground in this video interview with CRUX Investor’s Matthew Gordon:
The 40-minute interview covers the following key points:
  • Gold-equivalent of Castle East’s extremely high silver grades (up to 89,853 g/t Ag or 2,621 oz/ton Ag);
  • Drill plans to expand the size of the deposit targeting a 30 million oz silver resource (vs 7.5 million silver oz in the initial resource estimate published May 2020, which at an average grade of 8,582 g/t Ag or 250.2 oz/ton is the highest-grade deposit in the world);
  • How the resource update planned for Q1 2022 will reflect 50,000m of drilling and discovery of 7+ new high-grade silver veins (vs only 1 vein included in the initial resource);
  • Potential inclusion of the drill core’s gold, nickel and cobalt content into a silver-equivalent in the updated resource;
  • The exceptionally high-grade but narrow silver veins converted into vastly wider widths suitable for mining (ex. up to 50m width);
  • The process/cost/potential revenue of constructing a ramp for extracting high-grade silver in bulk samples and carrying out more effective additional exploration from underground;
  • Importance of the acquired TTL lab/bulk processing facility for the initial processing of the high-grade material to the point of pouring silver dore bars ready to be sent to a Canadian refinery for further refinement into final silver-bar form (plus the potential for recycling spent batteries at TTL); and
  • Potential cost of an eventual 600 t/d mill for processing mined ore and high-grade tailings on the property from past  mining of the Castle Mine and possibly from nearby mines.
