People are the key in any business and that’s why Mike De Carlo (and others) caught BMR’s attention in recent days during our latest visit to the Northern Ontario Cobalt Camp.

De Carlo has an amazing background in mining, spanning more than 4 decades, and ironically he was site superintendent responsible for putting Castle into production in the 1980’s when he was with Agnico Eagle (AEM, TSX).

Now he’s back with the focus this time on Cobalt, which he remembers was abundant at the Castle mine and used only as an indicator to lead into exceptionally high-grade Silver that Agnico Eagle mined through the 80’s.

As you’ll learn in this clip, De Carlo is about to help make history for Canada Cobalt as the first company to produce a Cobalt product in the vibrant Northern Ontario Cobalt Camp during this new “battery arms race”.
