Update from the Lomiko team

Follow our journey to a climate success story

See below for all the places to find us

  • The infill and extension drill program at the Company’s La Loutre natural flake crystalline graphite project is now underway with two drill rigs on site. Over 2,000m have been drilled and the program is expected to continue for 4 to 5 months (See below for pictures from our latest visit of the site).
  • Metallurgical studies have shown that samples taken from the La Loutre graphite at both deposits (the EV Zone and the Battery Zone) can be purified to 99.9% concentrate and that the graphite concentrate reveals favourable results and excellent crystallographic properties – meaning it is stable and can perform well in the variety of uses and applications that graphite is used for.
  • What’s next? Lomiko commenced with the Prefeasibility level metallurgical test program at Corem, ProGraphite in Germany, and other testing facilities. At SGS Lakefield, the focus of the program is to optimize the flowsheet that reflects the first 6 years of projected mining operation. This material will be used to develop the downstream value-add process all the way to battery trials. Regular updates will be provided to the market as specific milestones of the metallurgical programs are reached.
  • Community engagement is a priority. People can connect with the team by visiting the community website on our webpage for information on our project at https://lomiko.com/la-loutre-community-updates/ and emailing any questions to [email protected].
  • Lomiko is a strong proponent for the responsible development of critical minerals projects in Quebec and Canada for a North American solution. We believe that we can have a climate success story developed in Quebec by working with our local stakeholders and Kitigan Zibi rightsholders. Lomiko is now in the early stages of developing a stockpile of graphite projects in the region of La Loutre, and has claimed now over 14,000 hectares in total of claims with graphite showings. We plan to advance these with geophyisical aerial surveys in summer 2022.
  • Did you know we have an early stage lithium project that we are advancing on the highly prolific and extensive Nemaska lithium trend? For more information visit our project page at https://lomiko.com/projects/bourier/. We plan to advance surface sampling to better understand the geological anomalies hosting lithium, as well as tantalum and cesium.
