Silver Bull Announces Positive Preliminary Metallurgical Test Results on the Silver and Zinc Mineralization at the Sierra Mojada Project, Coahuila, Mexico
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwire – Nov. 21, 2012) – Silver Bull Resources, Inc. (TSX:SVB)(NYSE MKT:SVBL) (“Silver Bull”) is pleased to provide preliminary results for its metallurgical test program completed on the silver and zinc mineralization at the Sierra Mojada project located in the state of Coahuila, Northern Mexico. The results of this news release pertain to a series of bottle roll tests on the silver mineralization from the “Centenario Zone” and pyro-metallurgical tests using a rotary kiln from the “Red Zinc Zone.”
Highlights include;
- Silver recoveries from the Centenario Zone of up to 89% with an average recovery of 83% silver across a variety of silver grade ranges.
- The highest silver recoveries were achieved at a 75 micron grind using a cyanide strength of 5 grams per liter over a 24 hour time period.
- Roasting of the red zinc ore achieved up to 98.9% removal of zinc from the ore via fuming – producing an almost pure zinc oxide concentrate (approximately 80% zinc concentrate) at a 1,300 degrees Celsius roasting temperature.
