Magnetic Diorite System Successfully Located on Surface and a Surprise in the NW!

We were happy to share some good news this week – first, we announced the completion of $317,500 in financing, this includes the participation of Chalice Gold as previously announced. These funds will be used in our next round of drilling at Parbec, where we hope to build on our to-date result of 19 gold-bearing drill holes outside the modelled resource.
In addition, we announced the results of our prospecting program at Parbec. This start to our spring-summer season was successful – and surprising! The goal of this program was to look for surface evidence of a historically mapped diorite body south of the Cadillac Break (and main mineralization) at Parbec. We were successful in finding this rock type at surface, and are happy to report that the magnetic diorite is gold bearing on surface, indicating the presence of a mineralized system. In addition we re-discovered historic gold-bearing porphyry trenches in the NW portion of the property, this mineralization represents a surface step-out along strike of ~370m from the resource at Parbec, and ~190m from the westernmost of our 19 recent holes, PAR-18-80.
