CORPORATE SUMMARY
New Klondike Exploration Ltd. (NK), a Canadian focused precious and base metals exploration company, is the successor of United Reef Limited following a share consolidation and name change which became effective on August 17, 2012.
GOLDSTORM PROJECT (100%), Dryden, Ontario (Au, base metals)
- Emerging “New Klondike” gold mining district: east of Dryden, in NW Ontario.
- Many geological features common to major gold deposits identified on property.
- Major land position acquired by staking (current property ~232 sq. km., 109 unpatented claims – consisting of 1,443 claim units).
- Covers a large area within the southeastern part of the Eagle-Wabigoon-Manitou Lakes Greenstone Belt.
- Five regional scale structures and associated gold mineralization identified within or passing through the project boundaries, including:
- More than 45 km of major fault zones.
- A 12 to 15 km band of Timiskaming-type metasedimentary rocks resting unconformably on mafic metavolcanic and ultramafic to felsic intrusive rocks.
- Project hosts:
- 12 documented gold prospects (OGS Files).
- Numerous EM conductors; known base metal occurrence, anomalous base metals.
- Anomalous lake sediment geochemistry (Au, Ag, Cu, indicator elements).
- Centered in area of advanced exploration projects and developing gold deposits including: Osisko Mining (Hammond Reef), Rainy River Resources (Rainy River Gold Project), Treasury Metals (Goliath Gold Project), Coventry Resources (Cameron Gold Project), Tamaka Gold (Goldlund Project).
- A compliant technical report titled: ‘NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Goldstorm Project, Kenora Mining Division, Ontario, Canada’ is available on the NK website.
- More project detail, see presentation titled: ‘Goldstorm Project-Northwestern Ontario’ on the NK website, or click here.
SANTA MARIA PROPERTY (30%), Dryden, Ontario (Au, base metals)
- Contiguous to Goldstorm Project.
- NK has 30% working interest in 25 contiguous unpatented claims covering ~2,336 ha.
- Property includes at least 6 known historic gold occurrences, (including two small exploration shafts), with reported gold values ranging from trace to 28.0 g/t.
- Property hosts major regional and secondary fault structures, quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusive rocks, intense alteration (carbonate-silica).
- 2012 airborne survey by Black Widow Resources Inc. (70%), the operator, identified three distinct electromagnetically conductive anomalies having base metal potential which are targeted for follow-up exploration work.
NICKEL OFFSETS PROPERTY (100%), Sudbury, Ontario (Ni-Cu-PGM’s)
- 12 patented/5 unpatented claims (~357 ha) covering 2.3 km strike of Foy Offset dike.
- Most recent exploration: drilling and borehole EM program , completed fall ’09, identified new massive sulphide targets in proximity to existing mine workings; follow-up drilling and EM program in November 2010 intersected 2.89 meters of nickel rich massive sulphides and 2 meters of platinum group metals mineralization.
- NK seeking joint venture partner for property.
- Nickel Offsets Mine produced >200,000 tons of Ni-Cu ore in 1940-50’s.
