Lundin says buy Avrupa
Brien Lundin, in the March, 2014, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says buy Avrupa Minerals Ltd., recently 13 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Avrupa four times between May, 2011, and June, 2013, at prices ranging from nine cents to 47 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the four buys, the $4,000 position is now worth $2,891. The company is a prospect generator with properties in Germany, Kosovo and Portugal. Mr. Lundin says he likes the prospect generator model because it allows Avrupa to explore properties in a difficult financing environment. The editor says one example is the company’s Covas tungsten project in Portugal, where Avrupa is the operator of an exploration program being financed by a joint venture partner, Blackheath Resources Inc. At Covas, Avrupa has expanded the project’s four known areas of mineralization and identified a fifth zone. The editor then discusses the Alvalade project in Portugal, which the company is exploring with a different joint venture partner, Antofagasta Minerals SA. Mr. Lundin says Avrupa has had impressive drill results at Alvalade and the exploration program there should provide Avrupa with plenty of news flow for the rest of the year.
