ION Energy: Successful PDAC 2023

Last week, our team had a whirlwind week at PDAC 2023, reconnecting with our colleagues and shareholders from afar, meeting new investors, and making new industry friends from other jurisdictions!

We were especially pleased to have the opportunity to spend time with the entire Mongolian delegation and our Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry, His Excellency Ganbaatar Jambal.

ION & the Canada Eurasia Chamber of Commerce

ION Energy was delighted to be a supporter of the Canada Eurasia Chamber of Commerce’s event at PDAC 2023: the 23rd Eurasia Mining Series.
CECC’s Eurasia Mining Conference 2023 was the largest annual Canada-Eurasia industry event, primarily focused on the mining industry, bringing together 200 decision-makers from 4 countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Canada. It was another innovative way for ION to partner with industry leaders from other jurisdictions, and discuss potential opportunities to work together in the future.

This year ION Energy Ltd had the distinct honour of being invited to participate in Kazakhstan Day, and to meet with government officials and leading business entities from Kazakhstan.

As a neighbouring emerging economy to Mongolia, it was a pleasure sharing our story of growth and opportunity in-country, while raising Mongolia’s profile as an investment-friendly jurisdiction. This was a welcome opportunity to explore collaborative themes, as global investors look for new, emerging opportunities.
