DNI Metals finishes work program at Vohitsara
DNI COMPLETES THE FIRST-PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT OF ITS 100%-OWNED VOHITSARA GRAPHITE PROPERTY IN MADAGASCAR
DNI Metals Inc. has commenced and completed phase 1 of development of the Vohitsara project. The first phase consisted of completing geophysics over and close to the old French mine workings and digging of trenches in the same area.
DNI’s group of professionals was able to find mineralization on the main zone that extends more than two kilometres and averages 300 to 400 metres wide.
There are at least two other zones on the property that have not been fully studied.
DNI initially focused on an area that was known to contain large-flake graphite, had undergone historical mining operations and that had mineralization close to surface. The focus area is 900 m by 400 m. A total of six trenches for 75 line metres averaging one to three m depth were completed.
All samples are being shipped to Canada for full analysis.
As per the press releases dated April 1 and April 8, 2015, the trenches were dug in the areas of the initial grab samples and also along zones of extension.
All representative samples were collected under supervision of DNI’s country manager, Steven Goertz. Mr. Goertz is a geologist and is a qualified person under JORC and National Instrument 43-101 regulations.
