Mr. Richard Savage reports

NEW TECHNICAL TEAM RETAINED

Crystal Lake Mining Corp., through Emerald Lake Development Corp. (the geological contractor), has retained the geological services of a new technical team. Lightfoot Geoscience Inc. is owned and operated by Dr. Peter C. Lightfoot, PhD, PGeo, and will provide expertise on nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide ore deposits and technical advice on the exploration program. Dr. Lightfoot will focus his efforts on the Emerald Lake project in the Fort Frances area of Northwestern Ontario.

Dr. Lightfoot was chief geologist with Vale Base Metals responsible for technical aspects of the exploration programs at Sudbury, Thompson and Voisey’s Bay, and tracking the developments in understanding of the geology and global supply of metals from nickel sulphide and laterite deposits. Dr. Lightfoot received his BA from Oxford University in 1980, his MSc degree from the University of Toronto in 1982 and his PhD from the Open University in 1985. Following postdoctoral studies at the University of Toronto, he joined the Ontario Geological Survey in 1987 and worked extensively on Sudbury and undertook a joint program of research on the Noril’sk deposits in Russia. In 1996, Dr. Lightfoot joined Inco as senior geologist and worked on Inco’s Voisey’s Bay project and international project generation. With Vale’s acquisition of Inco in 2006, he worked with a team of technical experts responsible for international project support and generation. In 2010, Dr. Lightfoot returned to work on Canadian ore deposits by providing technical support to exploration within Vale’s operations in Sudbury, Thompson and Voisey’s Bay. Dr. Lightfoot is the Hutchinson visiting industry professor at the University of Western Ontario and associate editor of Elsevier’s Ore Geology Reviews. For 25 years, Dr. Lightfoot has been based in Sudbury, and through his linkages to industry, government and academia, has been positioned to develop and assemble the ideas presented in his recent book on the Sudbury ore deposits and impact melts.

In addition, Crystal Lake, through Emerald Lake Development, has also retained Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience, a consulting firm providing geological and geophysical services. The principal geologist, Elisabeth Ronacher, PhD, PGeo, has worked on the Porgera gold deposit, Papua New Guinea, and on the giant Hugo Dummett copper-gold porphyry deposits at Oyu Tolgoi, Mongolia, among others. During the last 10 years, Ms. Ronacher has been involved in exploration for a variety of commodities (including gold, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, platinum group elements) and ore deposit types (including orogenic, orthomagmatic, volcanogenic massive sulphide, sedimentary exhalative) worldwide. She received a PhD from the University of Alberta and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Colorado School of Mines.

We seek Safe Harbor.
