Berkwood Resources Ltd. (TSX.V BKR) is very excited to hear that our neighbors, Mason Graphite (TSX.V LLG), has raise funds to start building a graphite mine on their Lac Gueret property. This property is contiguous to our Lac Gueret property about 8 km away.

Our zone 1 shares the same geographical structure. All 18 holes we have drilled on zone 1 have hit graphite and we have some of the highest grade graphite in North America. We have just finished our phase 3 drill program and are waiting for assays.
Having a mine being build next to us reduces the costs and risks of going in to production. All the infrastructure is now in place which makes our property more valuable!

Mason Graphite Inc. has closed a $45 mil bought deal private placement.
The offering was underwritten by a syndicate led by National Bank Financial Inc., and including Paradigm Capital Inc., Cormark Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Eight Capital and TD Securities Inc.
Proceeds of the offering will be used for development and construction expenses related to the company’s Lac Gueret graphite mine and Baie-Comeau, Que.,….
