Arizona Silver Exploration set to begin new drill campaign at Philadelphia project
The company signed a contract with Harris Exploration Drilling to conduct the 3,000-metre program

Arizona Silver Exploration Inc (CVE:AZS) (OTCMKTS:AZASF) is about to begin a 3,000 metre drill campaign at its Philadelphia precious metals project.
The Vancouver-based explorer said Wednesday that it had signed a contract with Harris Exploration Drilling to conduct the program.
Drill crews plan to mobilize on February 1, with drilling expected to begin during the week of February 3, according to the company.

In late 2019, drilling at Philadelphia intersected high-grade mineralization. Further exploration in the form of a UAV airborne survey identified a “prominent” magnetic low extending from old mine workings through the current drilling target area.
The magnetic low looks to be contiguous with the area of gold intercepts found along the vein, along strike and down dip of the gold intercepts, Arizona said.
The 2020 campaign will test this area as a possible feeder zone for the gold-bearing vein intercepts encountered to date, the firm told shareholders.
Between 10 and 12 holes are currently planned between the nine previous gold-bearing drill intercepts and state highway 68, while an additional 10 holes have already been permitted and bonded if results are positive.
Philadelphia is a high-grade gold and silver vein target located in Mohave County, northwestern Arizona.
The firm’s shares were trading at C$0.16 and US$0.12 on Wednesday afternoon.
