Alabama changes symbol, begins trading on OTCQB
ALABAMA GRAPHITE CORP. ANNOUNCES NEW STOCK SYMBOLS IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA; COMMENCES TRADING ON OTCQB
Effective at market open on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, Alabama Graphite Corp.’s common shares will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new symbol CSPG. The change in stock symbol is intended to better reflect the company’s core business model and primary point of market differentiation in the graphite development space — the production of coated spherical purified graphite (CSPG), trademarked as ULTRACSPG. The company is the only known graphite development company with its core business model predicated entirely on the production of specialty, secondary-processed, finished CSPG, specifically engineered for use in secondary lithium-ion batteries. The company does not intend to sell any primary-processed, unfinished graphite concentrate.
Additionally, the company’s common shares commenced trading on the OTCQB under the new symbol CSPGF, effective at market open on Jan. 3, 2017. Real-time quote display service for the company’s U.S. symbol (CSPGF) is now available on-line.
Executive vice-president Tyler Dinwoodie commented, “We are pleased to be quoted on the OTCQB Venture Market under our new stock symbol, as it provides our numerous U.S.-based investors with a readily accessible platform for trading AGC shares.”
