Renforth’s Prospecting program at Parbec was the first to cover the entire property south of the Break – historically attention was only paid to the Break area. This program successfully located numerous outcrop locations, importantly 3 were located within the area of a large diorite body seen in regional geophysics. These 3 locations contained quartz-tourmaline veins with coarse pyrite in the vein walls within a strongly magnetic diorite host. All of the samples taken from the entire southern portion of the property (>80) will be sent for assay and used to compile the first detailed surface geology map for the property.
In addition to this success Renforth is please to announce that detailed, 25m spaced, airborne geophysics will be flown at Parbec. This survey is detailed enough to show subtle changes in rock properties, allowing the mapping of lithologies and the use of artificial intelligence/predictive geology to extend known data. |
