Auxico Resources testing returns +98% Au recovery

AUXICO ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF INNOVATIVE METTALURGICAL TESTING

Auxico Resources Canada Inc. has provided results from innovative metallurgical testing conducted on its gold/silver properties located in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico.

Series of tests that have been conducted on gravity concentrates from the Campanillas and Aguamas properties have resulted in the recoveries of over 98 per cent of gold and 87 per cent of silver within the same leach. These tests have been conducted over the last year using a mix of acids composed of sulphuric acid and thioria. The extraction (less than one hour) is accelerated by the use of ultrasound technology and the process uses no external heat or pressure.

These results are highly encouraging, as the process will significantly reduce both capital and operating expenditures, while having a much smaller environmental footprint.

This news release was reviewed and approved by Joel Scodnick, PGeo, an independent consultant to Auxico, in his capacity as a qualified person, as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
