Video Replay of Canada Silver Cobalt’s investor presentation (by Matt Halliday) during an Amvest Capital webinar June 8, 2021
CCW’s Matt Halliday, P.Geo, President, COO and VP Exploration, outlined the company’s exploration and development plans for its former-producing, silver-cobalt Castle Mine in northern Ontario and answered questions including from a mining analyst during the June 8 Amvest Capital webinar. Here is a link to the 50-minute video (registration required):
Among the subjects discussed by Matt:
- Drill plans at CCW’s exceptional high-grade silver discovery at Castle East (drill intercepts up to 89,853 g/t Ag or 2,621 oz/ton)
- Upcoming sliver resource update expected in Q3 — which will reflect 35,000 meters of drilling and intersects of multiple (7) high-grade veins since the May 2020 initial resource estimate (based on only one vein)
- Ramp being planned down to the silver discovery about 500 m below surface in order to explore more effectively underground and to extract bulk samples of the extremely high grade silver veins found there
- ‘Green’ proprietary Re-2Ox extraction process (with flow sheet) which was proven in SGS lab tests to produce cobalt sulphate for the EV battery market (arsenic removed without needing a smelter) and is being further tested/optimized for other metals and recycled batteries. A pilot plant is being designed and constructed by SGS Lakefield.
- TTL lab and bulk processing facility in Cobalt, Ontario, which can process the local high-grade material in order to extract silver and pour silver bars
- Nickel-copper-cobalt properties recently acquired in Ontario and Quebec — in early stage exploration
